Coat Colors: Colors range from black, sable (ranging from golden to mahogany) or blue merle. All should have white and possible tan trim.
Grooming: Should be brushed and combed to keep the tangles out.
Shetland Sheepdogs are bright and eager to please. They are affectionate with children that are not loud. You may even find your Sheltie trying to herd your children.
The Shetland Sheepdog, also known as the "Sheltie" and sometimes referred to as the miniture collie. It is not a miniture collie. The Sheltie's ancestry goes back to the Border Collie.
