JAKE
2/13/04 - Friday the 13th, a good day in Jake’s life. Molly and Willie came from Leesburg, VA to pick up their new addition. Jake is making his home in Leesburg, VA with two new pals, (Shelties) Corky (sable and white) and Cosmo (tri-colored). Corky and Cosmo came down with Molly and Willie to get Jake. Jake will have a very special family to live with. Thanks so very much for Willie and Molly be willing to travel to North Carolina and to give my baby a good home.
03/04/04 I received an email today from Tucker’s family. Below you will see a portion of the email and then below that you will see some great pictures of Tucker. Thanks to Molly for sending the email and pictures.
Quote “Everything is going great! Tucker is a wonderful addition to our family. Both Corky and Cosmo love to have Tucker chase them around with their favorite toys clutched in their mouths. I guess it's almost like a game of keep away, and they are all very good at taking turns. Some of the cute things that Tucker is now known to do are first what I call the "Hop Attack!" Tucker will hop at you and then hop away, over and over again front legs pawing in the air. Also Tucker makes this strange noise almost like he is trying to bark but forgot how. He goes through all the motions of a bark but all that comes out is a puff of air! And trust me he knows how to bark!! Also Tucker will clamp his mouth shut hard emitting a sort of chompy clicking sound, like he is biting the air! Another cute habit Tucker has is finding great comfort in my feet. No matter where I am standing or sitting if Tucker wants to lay down for a bit he will always either lay on my foot or lean against my foot. In fact right at this moment while I am writing this Tucker is curled up under the desk with his head on my foot! Such a good little foot warmer!” unquote

Email from Tucker - 1/5/05: quote “it's me Jake, I mean Tucker or tuck-tuck. I have been trying to get Mommy and Daddy (Molly and Willie) to contact you to let you know how I'm doing. I love it here with my brothers Corky and Cosmo. We are always playing something, whether it be tug of war, tag, ball or chase the flashlight if it's raining outside, we are always "making noise". Mom and Dad also taught me how to "high five" and "shake" on command when someone asks me nicely. :o) Mommy and Daddy have been talking about some type of obstacle course because I can jump high and run really fast. I also like to sleep a lot when they are gone during the day.. I received lots of treats during the Holiday season but I had to share all of them with my brothers but I have to admit I try to eat more to show them I'm a big boy now. I have been a good boy for the most part but I have had my share of bad moments. (Mommy's leather shoe started tasting really good until Daddy caught me, also one of Daddy's friends just happen to leave his tasty leather shoes around me also, I was just getting starting on that one). I don't do that anymore, the oldest brother Corky told me that I would get in trouble if I did that again... so all in all I love me family and they love me as well. Mommy also mentioned that she would be sending you more pictures as soon as she has time.
