Cairn Terrier Pup #4 - Firecracker Male (Living with a family in Manassas, VA) Family has named him: Pepper Jack Firecracker will be sold with limited AKC registration due to the small white patch of hair on his chest. This is a fault with AKC. It will most definitely not have anything to do with his health or anything else about him. It may fade as he grows and could possible then be registered without limited registration. Limited registeration will not allow his offspring to be registered with AKC should he be used for breeding.

Pictures of Puppy #4 Taken on 06/26/11 Puppy #4 is the only male in the litter. He is a real sweetheart.
Firecracker is a real heart stealer. He knows how to get your attention and hold it. He loves to be played with already at an early age and he already knows how to entertain. Firecracker has that "happy-go-lucky" personality like his Dad Taz. I would say, "he is our favorite male out of the litter" but of course he is the only male out of the litter. On 07/0/11 Firecracker weighs: 2 lbs. - 7-7/8 ozs.
In the picture above you can see the white patch of fur in between his front legs. As stated above at the top of the this page, he will be sold with limited registration due to the white patch of hair. As he gets older the white may or may not fade into his coat and no longer be white. His coat is lightening up some. In the AKC show ring the white is a fault. Most often I have seen these fade with the changing of their coats. I just want the families to be aware, should someone plan on using him to breed then his offspring will not be able to be registered with AKC.
