Email received from Rain's family on 11/17/13: Quote "First week report. She sits and watches and learns. She now can go in and out the doggie door to the fenced in back yard. She goes out and does her business and back in she comes. She can now use the doggie steps to get up on the bed. On Wednesday she pulled her crate down the hall like she was moving out. She is so funny. She helped put up the Christmas tree. Part of the ornaments ended up in her crate. She pulls all her play toys out and lays on them. She is training us well along with stealing our hearts. Stormie is very protective of Rain. She watches her like she was her mother." unquote
Email received from Rain's family on 12/2/13: Quote "KC Rain is forever learning. She watches when we close her crate. and guess what, she now can open her crate. She is amazing. She is learning to sit for her daily treat, by the way, she knows the sound of the bag when it is open. The other day we could not find her and we panicked. We found her asleep in her crate. It is funny watching Stormie and KC Rain playing. On Saturday, KC Rain took off out the front door and wanted to play. We could not catch her. My wife told Stormie to get KC and low and behold, Stormie chased her down and grabbed her ear and held her till ..... could get to KC. Then Stormie went on about her business. Stormie looks out after KC Rain like a mom. I know Sky and Taser would be pleased. Oh by the way, she saw the star in the mail box that opens and closes. She will sit for minutes with her head going up and down with the star. She loves the Santa beside our tree. She will sit and watch him for the longest time. We have fun just watching her. I will send pictures for Christmas." unquote
Email received from KC Rain's family on 11/25/13: Quote "We took KC Rain back to the vet today for her shot and additional checkup. She now weighs 7 pounds. I told the vet to check her hearing and she laughed. She said it sounded like she was spoiled rotten. She is doing very good on the potty training. She either goes outside or to the puddle pad. She tends to twist everyone around her paw. She and Stormie run and play hard during the day. She loves the doggie door and loves hiding things outside. She sleeps all night long. We love her to death. She is a perfect fit for our family. Thanks so much. We hope that you and your family a great Thanksgiving. Tell KC Rain’s mom and dad she is doing good." unquote
