Samson says, okay, enough of this picture taking.  I have many things to go and do. Like play, play and ohhhh did I mention play?

Samson went to his home with his new family.  From this point on the updates will be from Samson's forever family.   Samson is helping the family to heal and to fill the void left from another wonderful Sheltie, Gibson.

He's sleeping a few hours at a time..gets up we go out... plays awhile... sleeps a few hrs... just like a baby... He absolutely didn't like being in his crate when we ran to walmart... He'll get used to.. He'll only be in his crate when we're not home.. he's got a bed in our room..."unquote

Samson went for his 2nd vet visit today... 1st visit was 11/14 he weighed 5.1 lbs got shots and did very well... today he weighs 6.7lbs got another round of shots and has done very well...
He learned to go down stairs yesterday... Now when I go downstairs to do something he no longer stays at the top barking just comes on down...
He's doing pretty good on potty training... Each day gets better... I'm trying to get him to bark when he needs to go out... I will say this... if he has an accident he usually goes in the bathroom.. You'd think he was human...
He's always under my feet... If I am in the kitchen loading the dishwasher he's right there... I don't know how many times I've accidentally stepped on his paws...
He is an ABSOLUTE joy! such a character... has such a sweet and loving wonderful personality! very smart... He is the best... So much like Gibson, but yet so very different.
I'm attaching some pics of Samson... You'd think all he does is sleep, but there are a few of him awake...

Email and Pictures below received from Samson's family on 01/23/14:  Quote "It's hard to believe another month has passed and Samson is 4 months old... He's gotten so big... Yet still so small. He had his final puppy shots the beginning of January and weighed 9lbs. He loves to snuggle...... Samson's my little cuddler... And Quite the protector... Ready to take on any dog 4x his size...

My mom was just here for a visit from Minnesota... It was her 1st time seeing Samson... Oh my gosh... She absolutely loved him... Wasn't sure how she'd be cause all she ever talks about is Gibson... I got a picture of her and Samson that I will attach... She was sleeping in the recliner and Samson right with her...

Samson of course knows the basic commands... Sit and down... Still learning stay... He has learned "give me 5" and has just about learned "rollover". He loves being outside chasing the birds... The squirrels... The leaves... Anything that moves he's chasing... He truly brings so much joy to us... Makes us laugh constantly... Puts a smile on our faces... Hope you enjoy the pics." Unquote
